Ingredients
1 lb cauliflower; broken into small florets
1 lb broccoli; broken into small florets
1 green chilies; chopped
5 tablespoon mustard seeds; black and yellow mixed
8 tablespoon mustard oil or vegetable oil
2 teaspoon water
Parsley
Salt to taste
Recipe Instructions
Prepare the mustard.
Grind together the mustard seed, salt, chilies and water to make a paste. Leave this to stand uncovered for one hour.
Cook the vegetables.
Over a high heat, sauté the broccoli and cauliflower in the oil until slightly crisp and brown around the edges. Add the mustard mixture and mix together. Reduce the heat and cook until all the liquid is absorbed (5 – 10 minutes).
Serve.
Remove from the stove and garnish with parsley. Ready to serve.
