Chinese Broccoli Salad Recipe

A salad mixed with nuts for that awesome taste
Yield: 8    Preparation Time: 10 minutes    Cooking Time: 20 minutes
This salad offers a delicious combination of sweet, heat and nutty flavors.


2 large heads of broccoli
½ cup toasted sunflower seeds
1 cup dark raisins
1 tsp green curry paste or to your liking
1 tsp sugar
Oriental sweet cooking rice wine to taste (Aji- Mirin)
Oriental sesame seed oil to taste
Soy sauce to taste

Recipe Instructions

Cook the broccoli.
Cook the broccoli florets in salted water with a few slices of lemon until crisp but tender. Drain and rinse. Place the florets (broken up) into a bowl and add the sunflower seeds and raisins. To taste add the sweet cooking rice wine, the sesame seed oil and the soy sauce. Add the sugar and the curry powder to your liking.

Can be served warm or well chilled.
